I know many of the families I work with don’t live anywhere near Michigan. You might be hundreds, even thousands of miles away, but still responsible for an estate here. That’s overwhelming — I’ve seen it countless times.
That’s why I built Dolinski Group around clarity and compassion. We don’t just list a house — we guide you through the entire probate process, connect you with the right local resources, and keep you informed every step of the way. My background as a nurse taught me that people need honesty, patience, and steady guidance during hard times, and I’ve carried that into my work as a probate real estate agent.
If you’re managing probate from out of state, know this: you don’t have to figure it all out alone. My team and I are here to be your eyes, ears, and boots on the ground in Michigan.
It’s common for executors to live outside Michigan. That doesn’t have to complicate the process.
We’ve helped families close estates remotely—Ohio, Texas, and beyond—using:
We built Dolinski Group specifically to handle the real estate side of probate with the same professionalism and clarity you bring to the legal side. From providing quick, defensible valuations to managing property cleanouts and listing prep, our goal is simple: take work off your plate, so you can focus on what you do best.
I value being the kind of partner you don’t have to double-check. You can trust that when you send a family our way, they’ll get compassionate guidance, practical options, and consistent communication — the same standard of care you give your own clients.
Dolinski helps attorneys clear non-billable tasks off their plate and close cases faster.
“Alex Craig is a total pro. There were some complexities to my situation, since I was selling a house remotely on behalf of my family, and Alex navigated it all seamlessly. He went the extra mile several times over and stuck with us every step of the way.”

Generally, it is a good idea to contact your attorney first. An attorney is needed, often, to start the probate process. As real estate agents, we specialize in helping you dispose of any real estate in the estate. This can mean helping remove junk all the way to listing and marketing the home.
However, if you do not know an attorney, you can reach out to the Dolinski Group and we can refer you to the one of attorneys we work with.
There are two factors that affect how long it takes to sell a home in probate. First, there is the probate process. This is heavily dependent on the court system, whether there was a Will or not, and how quick your attorney files necessary paperwork.
The second factor is dependent on the real estate market and your real estate agent. When houses are selling fast, a probate property will sell quickly with minimal work put into it. When real estate markets slow, it takes longer to sell a house.
There is also the matter of your real estate agent. An experienced probate realtor is going to result in a faster home sale. Also, you could choose, for example, to use the Dolinski Group’s cash offer program.
Probate is complicated, but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. This season is heavy. Our promise is simple: clarity without pressure, options without jargon, and steady communication until the home is sold and the estate is protected.
